DAY 01: Arrival in Delhi
Meet and greet by our represantative and transfer to your hotel for rest, night in delhi
DAY 02: Delhi to Leh (3500 m)
After breakfast, flight to Leh, on arrival transfer to hotel for rest and after lunch visit of Shanti Stupa and leh vegetable market. Night at hotel
DAY 03: Leh – Stok – Choglamsar, 30 km (round trip) Visits of Spituk village
After breakfast road towards Stok Palace – visit of the museum and Stok village. Possible to share a cup of tea/Kahva with a ladakhi family. Then continue towards Choglamsar, and lunch, and then visti of Monastery of Spituk.
DAY 04: Leh – Lamayuru through Likkir, Basgo (3450 m), 135 km
After breakfast, road towards Likkir, visit of monastery of Likkir, and visit of ruins of Basgo Palace, then road to Lamayuru, and visit of one of the oldest monasteries on a hill , night at guest house in Lamayuru.
DAY 05: Lamayuru – Alchi, 55 km.
After breakfast, attend the ceremony in monastery, and take road towards Alchi, Visit of the monastery of Alchi with temples, caves and stupas built in Ladakh, the complex of 6 temples of Alchi is undoubtedly the most ancient and the most incredible in ladakh region, night in guest house
DAY 06: Alchi to Leh (3600 m), via Likkir, Phyang: Drive: 130 km/04:30 hrs
After breakfast, road towards leh, via Likkir and Phyang, where we visit Tashi Chozang gompa which has beautiful wall paintings. After lunch we take road to leh, and we arrive by late afternoon, rest of time free in Leh.
DAY 07: Around Leh
After breakfast, Full day siteseen of leh including monasteries of Shey, Thiksey, and Hemis gompas, return to Leh and night in hotel.
DAY 08: Exploring Leh
After breakfast, Visit of Tsemo Gompa, Shanti Stupa and old fort of Leh. night at hotel.
DAY 09: Leh to Sarchu (4250 m): Drive: 250 km/ 09hrs
After breakfast, road towards the world’s second highest motorable pass, Tanglang La (5332 m) , and after crossing Morai plains, we reach village of Pang, after lunch, we proceed towards Lachung la (5090 mtrs) and Nakki La (4950), and after crossing Gata loops, we reach Sarchu, border between states of Jammu and kashmir and himacha pradesh. – Night in Camp in Sarchu
DAY 10: Sarchu to Manali (2050 m): Drive: 225 km/09hrs
After breakfast, road towards Baralacha la, (4800 mtrs), and from the top, we have breathtaking views of snow capped mountains. We continue along Chandra river, and after crossing Rohtang Pass, we arrive in Manali which is one of the most popular hill stations of india, and very famous among Honeymoon couples. – Night at hotel
DAY 11: Exploring Manali
After breakfast, visit of Manali, including Manu temple, Hadimba devi temple, and monastery – night in manali.
DAY 12: Manali to Mandi (754m): Drive: 97 km; then to Rewalsar; 23 km
Road to Mandi, which is known for its shikhara-style temples of Bhootnath and Triloknathat at Tarna Hill. check in to hotel in mandi, and we proceed towards Rewalsar, a small village 23 kms from Mandi, where there is a small lake. It is believed that from this place Padmasambhava left for Tibet to spread Buddhism – Night in Mandi
DAY 13: Mandi to Palampur (1219m), via Bir, Baijnath: Drive: 137 km
After breakfast, we move towards Palampur, on the way visit of Bir, which is Tibetan settlement in Dhauladhar mountain ranges. Enroute visit of the Baijnath, Old shiva temple and we reach Palampur which is famous for its tea gardens and Mild climate. – Night at Hotel
DAY 14: Palampur to Dharamsala (1830 m), via Masroor, Kangra: Drive: 82km/03 hrs
After breakfast, road towards Dharamshala, on the way, visit of Masroor, 30 km before Kangra, which has 15 rock cut temples of Indo-Aryan architecture. After lunch, visit of Kangra fort, and Brijeshwari devi temple, continue towards Dharamshala and we arrive in Mc Leod Ganj, seat of Tibet in Exile, which has a monastery and home of dalai lama also. – Night at hotel
DAY 15: Exploring Dharamsala/Mcleodganj
After breakfast, visit of Mc leodganj, starting from the Namgyal monastery which is surrounded by a row of prayer wheels and contains large images of the Buddha, Padmasambhava and Avalokteshwara. Afterwards, we visit Dalai lama’s residence and evening free in Mc Leodganj. – Night in Mc Leodganj
DAY 16: Dharamsala to Amritsar: Drive: 190 km/6 hrs
After breakfast, route for Amritsar, and by afternoon check in to hotel, and visit of Wagah Border, and evening visit of Golden temple – Harmandir sahib, which is most important Sikh Shrine in the country. We can attend evening prayers, and participate in community kitchen offered at Gurudwara Langar – night in Amritsar
DAY 17: Amritsar to Delhi: Train: 6 hrs; and Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Railway station to catch train to delhi, and on arrival transfer to Airport for onward destination.
